If you are a chocolate lover like me, and want a custom made chocolate to satisfy your needs, here are some ideas to make simple, quick homemade chocolates. There is no limit to creativity with chocolates. All combinations of nuts (hazelnut, almond, walnut, pecan, etc) and dried fruits (raisins, figs, blueberries, etc) with different concentration of cocoa (I used 60%). They are extremely simple to make and satisfy the daily needs of your sweet tooth. To make it a complete guilt free indulgence, I am trying out the chocolate chip recipe at home, have not nailed it yet. Watch out for it!
Dark chocolate and nut clusters
Ingredients
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup walnuts
1/2 cup dried blueberries (you can replace this with raisins or dates or figs)
Directions
1) Microwave the chocolate chips in a bowl for about a minute and half to completely melt the chocolates
2) Add the chopped nuts and mix well
3) Scoop the mixture into paper cups using a spoon. Don't worry about the shape, as clusters are meant to be shapeless
4) Once cool (after about couple hours), store in a container
